It's easy to enter information into Leo - but what if all your building information is already loaded in another application? With the optional Leo DataConnect, you can automatically update Leo from just about any other database with no re-typing and no transcription errors.
Leo DataConnect automatically uses information from real estate accounting programs or databases such as Yardi™, Timberline™, MRI™, Skyline™ and others to continually update Leo and give you an intuitive view of your data.
Even though Leo is updated by your application, Leo doesn't reside there, insuring the highest level of security and integrity for your business information. Instead, on a regular basis, Leo requests that your database send a predefined report (in XML format) to Leo. Leo then updates itself to match your current records.
Leo DataConnect allows Leo users to turn off unwanted, incomplete, or historical items that do not require automatic updating, so Leo contains only the data you need. Always up-to-date, always automatic.

Leo DataConnect, via a read-only connection, uses SQL statements tailored for your data source to retrieve to your PC, within your network, lease and building information.
Leo DataConnect translates the extracted data into an XML snapshot. The XML data is transferred via a DataConnect generated web service request to Leo Server.
Leo Server identifies new or updated data items (leases and suites are examples of data items) and updates the Leo Database. The updated view of your portfolio is now available to you through Leo.
