Joseph Geisel, CSM
Joe's group started a pilot program with Leo late in 2004. That experience led to the installation the following year of Leo DataConnect, which extracts information from their Timberline™ accounting system for a single client portfolio of thirty buildings. With Leo DataConnect Joe knows Leo is always as accurate as his accounting system. NAI now has nine Leo members and we expect that number to increase because NAI is now using Leo to help win third party assignments.
Cary Fronstin, RPA
Cary, a senior member of the Grubb & Ellis staff and past president of BOMA of South Florida, is the administrator for a Leo license group of 4 users. His client (the owner of the properties) lives in Canada and his client's attorney and accountant work in Chicago. Cary is responsible for 8 properties located in several different states. This group uses Leo primarily for the My Documents feature. They tell us that Leo more than pays for itself in savings from overnight shipping costs.
David Petersen
The Trammell Crow Company in Chicago adopted Leo Software to provide better third party management services to its clients. According to Petersen, "Leo’s capabilities really dazzled us. It’s a one-source solution for tracking, managing and sharing any information required for managing commercial property." RFP Commercial, Inc., a Milwaukee based brokerage company, uses Leo to manage and market commercial properties. “We’re using Leo Software to track insurance expiration dates, lease renewal dates and other milestones,” said Mary Ackerman. “It’s also useful for calculating scenarios for re-financing. Leo provides an easy way for our owners to check on the status of properties and changes in the portfolio, without requiring our property managers and brokers to spend time creating reports.”

Christine Leonard
HSA Commercial owns and manages over 18 million square feet of commercial space. In our first meeting with Christine she quickly saw the value of Leo. She and her team have become big advocates of Leo ever since. HSA uses Leo DataConnect to extract data from their Ellipsis™ lease abstract system. We also provide HSA with other services such as lease abstracting and data entry. Our initial install was for approximately ten licenses. Today HSA has 24 Leo members.
